What the Vinted listing agent does

Writing a Vinted listing yourself means thinking of a title, describing the condition, remembering the measurements, picking hashtags and guessing a price, for every single item. The listing agent does the writing part from a photo. You check it, fix anything it got wrong, and paste it in.

Upload up to three photos (front, back and the label works well). Add the size and any flaws, since a photo can't always show those. You'll get a title, a full description, hashtags and an estimated price range.

How to get the best results from a photo

The agent can only describe what it can see. Some photos give it a lot more to work with than others.

  • Shoot in daylight on a plain background, so the colour comes out right
  • Include the brand label or care tag in one photo: that's where the brand and fabric come from
  • Photograph any flaw up close, and mention it in the text box too
  • Lay the item flat, because creases make it harder to tell the cut and fit

What you get for each item

  • A title in the brand + detail + item + colour + size format Vinted buyers search with
  • A description covering fit, condition, material and postage
  • 10-15 hashtags to choose from
  • An estimated price range to start from

Each part has its own copy button, so on a phone you can copy the title, switch to Vinted, paste, and come back for the description.

About the price estimate

The suggested price is a starting point based on the brand, item type and condition. It doesn't check live Vinted sales, so before you set a price, search Vinted for the same item and see what similar listings are asking. Price a little above where you'd be happy, because most Vinted buyers send an offer.

What the agent won't do

It won't guess a brand it can't read, invent measurements, or claim an item is in perfect condition when you haven't said so. That's deliberate. A listing that overstates the condition is the quickest way to get a "not as described" claim on Vinted. If the agent leaves something out, it's usually because the photo didn't show it, so add it in the text box and generate again.

It also doesn't log into your Vinted account. Some tools ask for your login so they can post for you. We'd rather you paste the listing in yourself and keep your account to yourself.

Listing agent or description generator?

They use the same AI. The listing agent is set up for photo-first listing and adds a price estimate. The Vinted description generator suits people who'd rather type a few words and get the text. Use whichever fits how you list.

Cross-listing the same item

Once you've got a Vinted listing, the same photos work for Depop, eBay and Poshmark. Each platform has its own generator here, and each one adjusts the tone and hashtags for that app.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the AI listing agent for Vinted free?

Yes. It's free, with no sign-up and no listing limit.

Does the agent post to Vinted for me?

No. It writes the listing and you paste it into Vinted. That way you check it first, and you never need to give a third-party tool your Vinted login.

How accurate is the price suggestion?

It's a rough estimate based on the brand, item and condition. Check sold prices for similar items on Vinted before you decide.

What photos should I upload?

Up to three: the front of the item, the back, and the label or care tag. Good light and a plain background help the AI get colours and details right.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. On a phone you can take a photo or pick one from your gallery, and copy the result straight into the Vinted app.
