How Whatnot fees work
Whatnot charges a commission on the item price and a payment processing fee on the full order, including shipping and tax. Coins and money have a lower commission than other categories.
Since September 2026 commission is tiered by how much you sold in the past 28 days. This calculator uses the Standard tier, which covers most sellers; higher-volume sellers pay less.
In the UK, Whatnot's fees are quoted before VAT, which is added for sellers who aren't VAT registered.
