Depop dropped its 10% selling fee for US and UK sellers in 2024, so most calculators and guides you'll find are out of date. What's left is the payment processing fee, charged on the whole order (item, shipping and, in the US, tax), and a boosting fee if you boost the listing.
Buyers now pay a Marketplace fee on top of the price. It doesn't come out of your payout, but it does make your item cost more at checkout, which is worth remembering when you price against Vinted or eBay.

Keeping more of each Depop sale
- Boosting is the expensive part. It costs a big slice of the sale, so only boost items that are slow to sell, not ones that would go anyway.
- Because processing is a percentage plus a fixed amount, very cheap items lose a bigger share. Bundle low-value pieces.

£1.75 with no shipping and default settings, about 3.5% of the sale. You'd be paid £48.25 before your item and postage costs.
Does Depop still charge 10%?
Not in the US or UK. Depop removed the 10% selling fee for US and UK sellers in 2024 (and Australia in July 2026). Sellers in other countries still pay 10%.
Who pays the Depop Marketplace fee?
The buyer. It's added at checkout and doesn't come out of your payout.
